A sensible post indeed. I have stopped posting a journal as I felt I was writing to myself. Strange we have the Buddy system and we have the Buddies but in my case,they never communicate just sitting there on a list of names. Not my idea of a Buddy but each to their own. I have just one real buddy who communicates every day and is special to me in many ways. We all desperately need a Buddy like this one. Do I have name her ??? 

I have a few Buddies that write, post, respond and I appreciate the insight -- even when I don't agree. I like the sharing. Ok, have a great day, ya'll! 

The weather was really nice today. My right foot's asleep. I need to sleep but I still feel like I'm driving down the road. Oh... scratch that. You don't want to hear that from me ;) 

ok i have something to say now: Why do men nowadays have such a hatred against tie's? I will for this special occation translate a small piece of my book to show you how i (and many women with me) feel about it: *** When Tom entered the lounge some time later dressed for his meeting with the Count, Gwendoline held her breath in awe. Her heart skipped a few beats. She was used to seeing Tom in traveling clothes, nightgown and even naked once, but looking sharp like this in the tailored suit fit to perfection, in her eyes he was the unchallenged ruler of the universe. She immediately started to fantasize what it would be like to accompany him to a meeting like he was going to and she sighed. It was never to be...  

I was once accused of Gender Stereotyping but now I see I am not the only one who does it. Let me tell you Mrs Maud, I wear a tie every chance I get I even went on holiday in a suit and tie so there lol  

My hubby wore a tie just yesterday to church. He has an amazing collection for someone who does not wear them to his job. Even a rainbow of bow ties! He has a strange obsession with them. I guess it is better than going to the bars. Instead we have a son that does wear them for his job and we appreciate them when the time comes for him to inherit all these pieces of silk... 

Back to the buddy stuff: I don't understand how it works. I have a ton of buddies, but I don't see where I can find their posts right away without going through everybody's. Maybe others are having the same difficulty. 

I'm quite a fan of the bow tie, at least as it relates to pasta. 

About buddies. I don't always comment on everyone's journal or weigh in because sometimes I did not see it until they already wrote a new journal or had a new weigh in. A lot of my buddies do not come to FS every day so I look for their journal or weigh in, so I can encourage them, but they don't journal or weigh in. It is hard to comment or support someone if they are not active. Hopefully everyone is doing well.
