I had a bit of a freak out moment the other day when the scale put me at almost 3 pounds heavier than I thought I was. In retrospect I think it was water weight, because it's disappearing again, so I'm just weighing in at my steady weight.
I've gotten a bit more exercise recently (40 mins of walking a day for the last couple of days, some rompy playing on the playground with my kids, a few days of hiking/rock climbing during spring break), which is a step in the right direction. Am also going back to more of a phase 2 SB diet than I have been in the past few months.
I feel like I'm slowly re-emerging into the fatsecret world, and I was struck by how much of a healthy diet relies on the system I put in place for myself. Gotta have the right kinds of food around or else it's too easy to snack on bad stuff or be lazy about dinner. For me one thing I find is that having bottles of selzer water around keeps me from drinking something more sugary (or beer in the evening, which really packs on the pounds). I've done some good shopping n the last day or two also, so feel better about that.
