Spent the evening with my daughter, got a dress for her wedding next week. Sweet time with her, talking about the changes coming this year (and a new baby!). Later in the evening found out mom was admitted to the hospital for her breathing and granddaughter also went back to the hospital/admitted with possible infection. They're doing surgery on her this morning. Feels like 2020 is following us but I know they're both in the right place, the right people and God has control. Remembering to look for my "locus of control" and only deal with those things that are important and that I can do something about. The rest is futile and not worth my effort.
So. Today I will look for those things I can fix/help with and work on keeping my mits off anything sweet or carby lol. But, hey, my new pants still fit. So there's that.
