Last week was a setback. I'm embarrassed to say that among other things, I ate donuts, plural, and then during a videoconference game night I helped finish off a substantial portion of the Halloween candy that Superstore had given us a while ago as a "reward" for a big purchase.

My 36-hour Sunday fast was a good reset, and while Monday was a fairly high-calorie day, by yesterday I was completely back on track.

One positive aspect of all of this is the evidence that my weight peaks are clearly coming down, so I've lost real weight in the last few weeks, and not just temporary glycogen and water stores.

Now I just have to develop a strategy for the next time there are donuts or candy in the house, and everyone else is eating them. (Well, really just one other person. The baby doesn't get sweets.)
