It kills me to weigh in and put that higher weight!

I know some of that gain is water b/c of the high salt intake, but yesterday i bombed! We had the christmas party at work and i snacked and ate and snacked to the point of making myself sick. I knew i would be over on calories, but i didnt mean to eat with wreckless abandon. I should have fixed a plate and eaten from that, then i would have had some idea of what i was consuming. Instead i did the grazing. I even did the really stupid thing of washing it all down with a soda, just because i was too lazy to get my water. I didnt really want soda, but it was handy. Add 500 calories!

So i had skipped breakfast (unless you count the oreo cookie ball which effectively ruined my appetite) and then did the party. My plan was to skip supper (i was not hungry!). Instead, i came home and ate dip and crackers just because it was there. And i wasnt hungry! Then i was sick again.

So what will i change, or what should i have done differently? I will fix a plate, and add the calories. I will not have soda unless i really want it, and then only in moderation. I will not eat mindlessly, just because the snack is there - I will remove it from my presence (or ask Matthew to when he's finished). And i will exercise when i know I've done poorly.

And i will pray. I am an addict, and food is my drug. I am powerless and I need God's help. And i give him the glory for how far I've come.
