Today I’m headed to do an open water swim for the first time in 10 years. I can finally fit into my husband’s old wetsuit. There’s a lot of smoke in the air from the wildfires raging in the mountains so we may decide to skip it. I want to face this fear now before winter sets in so I’ve got my fingers crossed we can go.
