OMG!!! The participants in the Drop the Caffine Addictions Challenge are doing so great! At the four week mark, the active participants have dropped so much weight, it is simply rockin! I had heard years ago, I think in the Dr. Atkins book that caffine would slow weight loss (something about insulin production), but looking at the progress that everyone has just proved it!
I have made the switch to 100% decaf at home and at work. Personally I haven't really found a difference in energy level, and I've been drinking caffinated coffee for nearly 30 years (started around 7, my dad's family was really into sitting at coffee shops when I was growing up!) I've been a coffeeholic for most of my life. I am actually finding that caffing is making me jittery now :)
