My weight loss seems to be in spurts and I ‘plateau’ a lot where I don’t lose weight for 1.5 or 2 weeks at a time or more (twice it was a more than a month of eating strict -even only veggies and all raw- and working out). I’ve come to terms with that. I’m just going to let my body do it’s thing and keep going. I don’t know why it does it but bodies always try their best and I’m in it for the long haul. Could be high cortisol- (I tend to put on weight in times of stress and am wondering if my adrenals are just imbalanced a little because of many high stress situations in my life and ptsd), low thyroid function- (I’m not disease level but I’m low as of my last CBC), not counting calories-(eating too little or too much, read that even if tracking ppl can be off by 25% due to various reasons), etc. I may learn the reason why or not but this time I’m not going to give up. If my diet gets stressful I’m just going to adjust instead to make sure it stays sustainable. Here’s to not giving up this time!
