Scales moving in the right direction. Body in fat burning mode. Craving for sweet drinks including those with sweetener are limited and fat between. I have even learned to take my coffee black. This go around I am focused on keeping my insulin level low. I am trying to heal my insulin resistance by incorporating a 36 hr fast 3x a week. And on feeding days I am down to one meal a day. So all in all I eat 4-6 meals a week. My blood sugar gas responded positively. With low numbers even in the morning and before my medication. I hope I can keep on this path for a few weeks to give my pancreas and my digestive system a rest. I just have to learn not to try to push myself and over do it. I tend to get gung ho and over do the fasts or whatever it is I am doing. I push it to the point that is unhealthy and unsustainable. I think this is the reason I often fall off the wagon. The obsessive thinking that more is better is as dangerous as it will never happen to me way of thinking. More is not better. Slow and steady is the way. I hope to see this number slowly drop over the next few months.

I am trying to do a keto diet and alternate day Fasting as well as planning to incorporate a few longer fast as well (3+ days at least once a month)

I drink a lot of water with fresh lemon and I find it helps fill me in between meals ❤️❤️
