Well this morning I weighed myself and was 293.6lbs :D - so very happy that I am down 24lbs in just over 2 months. That is a big feat and I can finally say that I am losing weight. In the past I was able to fluctuation in weight by 20lbs and not feel better or worse not i feel that I am actually losing weight and it feels good. This weekend I took the wife to a movie (total recall - was good :D) and i sat there while she had popcorn and I had no craving for it. I did steal 2 kernels and they tasted bland and made me appreciate the whole foods i eat. I think this movie night will work as a reward system. Next mini goal is 280 - larger goal is 275. I feel that i am on the right tract and finally a large enough loss that i can attribute it to weight loss and not water loss. I cant wait to see these numbers flip (meaning the # loss > # still to go) but that will come in time. A goal I have is to be able to accompany my sons or rides at the Exhibition - I am hoping that next year i will be able to without fear of weight restrictions or even size restrictions (had to get off rides this year cause the safety harness would latch properly)Kinda embarrassing but that is nothing compared to the disappointment the kids would feel if I didn't try to ride. But hopefully next year I am able to ride without hindrance. This journal (or in this case comment) is a mishmash of things on my brain. I am gonna start to keep a journal (try to daily) of things I wanna say or at least record for future reflection.
