Count down day #29. Weight lower than expected. Covered the week in the green so happy about that. Fast day today, I hope. I'm already hurting. Thinking I need a break from it but the weight loss average is about 2 pounds over the course of a week and I'm looking that. I may be hitting it to hard, or maybe my body is just hangry with me.

Nice work, brother. How are your lifts holding up? To me strength is my sanity check. If I am hangry, but the bar's still going up, stay the course. If the bar is not going up, and I am rested and hydrated, then time to checkin on diet. I waited too long to adjust on that one last time around and ended up with a record rebound.

Lifts are okay and I only need about 4 pounds. I think I need a few maintenance days in between fat days rather than cutting continuously in between as well.

@nm Heard. Ain't broke, don't fix. Definitely as we get leaner, shorter fasts make more sense to me. In looking back over my data from this last cut, I was fine eating every other day, on lift days. Also fine with a 66:6 format, where I lifted and ate every third day. When I extended my fasts to four, and ultimately eight days, and tried to maintain my every other day lifting schedule, the wheels came off.
