While reading this, keep in mind that I've been over 350 pounds for the last 12 years. Last night, I walked 1.25 miles and ran another .75 on the treadmill. Now this might not seem like much, but it's the first time I've ran at all or worked out that hard since I played High School football.
I remember I was the biggest guy on our team and my Senior year, I played at 315 pounds. Now, I'm almost down to that weight and it gets me steamy eyed everytime I think about it.
When I break 300, I know I'll be very emotional at the scale. I haven't been under 300 since I was 16.
I'm a believer for sure.

Just setting aside time & getting on the treadmill is an accomplishment. I wish I could weigh what I did in high school & your 2 lbs away, you'll be there in less than 2 weeks!

You are doing awesome! It takes a long time getting back into the swing of things. Go at it a little at a time, that way you will build your stamina. I started out with walking and added Curves. I now walk five times a week and do Curves 3-5 times a week and am thinking I may add wateraerobics or swimming within the next month or so. Also still toying with the idea of walking a 5K walk. You go Guy!!!!! I have not been under 200 in over 25 years but I will get there sometime late this year or early next year. And THAT gets me steamed. LOL
