ok I've been away, BUT I don't know how/why/when my weight went up so much! I really need to get a new scale and new attitude and new habits and etc etc! Actually I've been under a lot of stress so i know some of that will cause me to gain EVEN if I don't eat a lot of the wrong foods for me. But again that is not a good excuse for allowing me to get the way I am right now. It is just that normally when I 'go off' of an eating plan I just stay around my high weight (use to be 160 or so) but now staying around 177 and up is just out of control and I'm not sure how to get it back down. Since I really DON'T go over board but can I excuse it off to my increasing age (64) lack of exercise (too tired after work) stress (sure I tried to meditate, that just makes me more tired!) & ok I have eaten out sometime but did watch what I was eating and now that my friend from up north is not here I don't have a reason to eat out (she loves to eat out). BUT again I just want to get back down to below 160 and then get back on track with the goal of 138-142. ANYONE have suggestions of a plan that will WORK for me? My body has always been difficult to shed weight (very efficient at holding onto it!). Right now I'm trying a protein (vegie) shake from GNC but sometimes at night I want real food and probably snack on too many nuts, so no more nuts in the house! take care to all.
