Finally some progress. Still finding routines and daily calories that seem to work best for me and I know better weather and being able to do yard/garden work helps a lot. For today, I am pleased.

Got derailed a bit yesterday. Garage sale shopping all day with DIL. Had lunch and dinner and wolfed down a candy bar yesterday so calories added up. Was hungry and didn’t stop after a little to see if I was actually still hungry. Fail. I deserve the gain this time. Do better next time. But slept really good so that’s a bonus.

So close to 183! Seems like the scales reflect whatever I did around 48 hours prior. Took a day off from exercise walking yesterday. May be paying for that tomorrow. Today I have a lot of errands so probably won’t be able to exercise today either.

Finding what works for me. Been trial and error but think I’m finally getting into a groove. Definitely paying attention to just how many calories even little bits of things have. A tablespoon or 1/4 cup of add ons I never thought twice about are out as I see they bring well over 100 calories but not that satisfying to be worth the calories. Still like a cookie or two or a handful of M&Ms sometimes though. Overall, lowering daily intake and staying active. No where near where I want to be but taking it one day at a time. Going on vacation next week so got to stay disciplined.
