My goal for today and this weekend is to stay at 1500 calories a day, and get to the gym everyday. I was doing good with the gym, but the last few days I haven't gone.
Tomorrow we're having a bday party for my stepdaughter :) We have all this yummy food planned that I should probably stay away from. I'll have to eat before the party. I hate having pop in the house....it's really almost next to impossible for me to resist. I have the will power to stay away from chips, and sweets, but not pop...idk why, I guess it's my weakness.

Today's my first day recording my food. I think this will be interesting. In the past I've just cut down my portions and ate healthy food. I've never paid much attention to the calories in food, or even how much I should eat a day.

Hi all! I'm new to fatsecret. I have been dieting for a couple months now. This site just seems like a good tool to help lose weight.
I've started jogging. I tried the couch to 5K program, but found I could run about a mile nonstop, so I've been running a mile at time and just trying to build up fom there. I like doing that rather than sticking to a program. Also I've been lifting weights, mostly the machines.
I've tried dieting 3 times. The first time I was at 179 lbs and got to 145...then got pregnant and gained all the weight back. Second time I was 213 after my first child and got to 188 before yet again getting prego :)
The 3rd time I got down to 215 about 3 years ago, but gained that back. The highest I've been was last year I weighed 261 lbs.
I was a member of TOPS and really enjoyed the suppport. I moved though to far to keep going to my TOPS group, and haven't found a new one yet.
