I have been stuck at 259 for three weeks now. It's getting frustrating. I am starting to celebrate too early. I had some good discipline but I can't seem to get it back. My diet was nothing but water rice and beans. Then the holidays started and I have only been maintaining. I have started running again. i think my left lung is damaged. I can't seem to get enough air. It isn't smooth running either. I weeze when I run and it doesn't sound very good. However, I am also lifting some weights in my legs and doing sit ups. I feel like I am getting a lot stronger. It feels good. I even went out and started playing basketball again. i was surprised I could even keep up. I only scored a basket, but it was a great feeling. We didn't win but the feeling to be a part of organized sports felt good.

Thursday's weekly weigh for work made me feel good. However, there is a girl in my office so psyched for losing weight now. I was seeing her demeanor change. I now heard she might be on the pills to lose weight. I was wondering why she was so energetic and happy. WOW. Please don't let me use those things. Seems so fake. LOL. Jealous I guess. I can't afford them anyways. I am happy being me. I have the power! Resist food and calorie intake. No bad food, Forrest. No bad food.

I ran two miles. Killer. My knee swelled up like a balloon. I may need more surgery. oh well. work through the damn pain. I feel like an old man. I need more stretching techniques throughout the day. Learn the lesson of waking up cat. that must be their tai chi.
I went somewhat paleo in my diet now. Fruit and meat only with lots of water.
Yesterday, a guy told me he had sleep apnea and then the doctor told him he could stand to lose a couple of pounds. He did lose the weight...65 Lbs. I asked how.
The doctor said calorie intake is the culprit. The man described his daily diet. He said for lunch I go to mcdonalds and order a big mac fries and a coke. Then it went to two big mac and no fries and a coke.
The doctors quarter pounder no cheese, side salad and diet pop. This will cut your calories in half. It worked he said. He's done many things other than that though now. However, it's a start. It's motivation for me. My skin is clearing up with all the water I am drinking.
My lunch is three oranges, three bananas, 8 oz of meat. Water.
I cut out bread mostly. I still want candy though. Sing it with me, y'all.

Being Native American doesn't lend itself to being healthy. I am changing the game though. This week instead of gaining, I stayed the same. I want to thank all those people who gave me prayers or thought of me. I got a compliment my stomach isn't hanging out anymore. So that was kind of good, I think. Thanks, honey. Mmmmmmawwwwahhhhh!
Backhanded compliments are always good, too. LOL.
There are ceremonial doings and I found myself resisting the cigarettes that are obligatory and the fattening food. I chose more fruit than anything else.
I am choosing my health. Holla if you hear me!
