I can not wait until tomorrow morning because I can just FEEL that I'm going to be down 20 lbs!!!!!! What an AMAZING feeling that is. I read on someone's journal yesterday this quote,
"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"
and I have to agree with that statement 110%! (don't get me wrong, tiramisu is a close second, haha) I can not stress enough how happy I am and how confident I feel. I literally NEVER thought I could get to this point and here I am and I'm on a roll! Now I know that I can get to my first goal of 130 lbs. and I can maintain that. I also know that I will, one day, be able to make it to my secondary goal of a size 4. That day is far off but most definately not unattainable! I am so glad I made the decision to change my life. I really had no idea what I was missing a few months ago. :)

So today is Day 31. I can't believe I'm 1/3 of the way through P90X! Not only that, but I'm 1/3 of the way to my goal weight as well! It's such a great feeling. I will be honest, last week was a tough one. I slacked in both my diet and exercise. But I am back on track this week and better than ever! I think I'm out of the rut that I was stuck in with my weight and am finally on a downward slope again! I really feel amazing.

So I went to a nice dinner with a sales rep last night and I didn't do too bad. I had a lot of fish (sushi) however I did have a martini. That was my downfall for two reasons: #1 It was way too many empty calories and #2 It made me so tired I went straight home and to bed, thus not doing my daily workout. I made up for it this morning, I got up and did my workout that I was supposed to do yesterday. Now I'll have to work out again tonight. I don't know why I've been so tired lately but I have been. I think I'm working too much (6-7 days/week). I hope I'm not going to crash soon.

Lent starts today. I usually give up french fries and other junk food but since I'm already not eating things like that anymore, it was difficult to make a decision on what sacrifices I am going to make. I decided (as most of the people my age) I am addicted to facebook! So I am limiting myself to checking it once/day if I REALLY need to. I haven't even looked at it at all today so I'm off to a good start. I also think I'm going to go to church at 7:30am every week day. I'm still going to stick to my french fry tradition so no more having 'just one' of my friends fries. I also usually fast on ketchup and hot sauce/hot peppers because they are my FAVORITE foods. So, although it's not quite the sacrifice it used to be, I'm going to stick to my old vows and stay away from all of those things until Easter. I am also not eating meat on Wednesdays AND Fridays, in keeping with a family tradition. Happy Lent everyone, this just means spring is right around the corner! {wait a minute, wasn't it just Christmas?}
