Slow and steady wins the race. No matter how good it feels to see your "number" getting closer on the scale, it is best to try and keep your weight loss to about 1% of your weight per week. Now if you are at a higher weight starting off you will more than likely lose faster than this. That is okay it will slowdown as your overall BF% lowers. Also, TAKE PICTURES! there are going to be weeks when the scale does not move much at all, and you don't feel like you have made any progress. Pictures help give you a record and a side by side week to week. If you are like me you see yourself in the mirror everyday, you may not notice any changes in the day to day timeframe but week to week you most definitely will. Keep Healthy, Stay Motivated and reach your goals, everyone can!
