Today was… good!!! I had a performance evaluation that went well and twenty minutes later found out I was actually promoted to a new position! Got a swim in, enjoyed some reading in the hot tub and then come home to delicious chicken saltimbocca!

Ok, I’m ready to start trying again. In July I learned I was pre diabetic and I change how and what I was eating and started swimming I have not gained any weight back (just normal fluctuations) but it’s been like one thing after another that I feel is preventing me from eating the way “I should” and from exercising. The holidays I did relax some because I still want to enjoy those times I did have a lot more self control though. But then the new year happened and uggggghhg such a great first six days…and then I was SICK until yesterday. Two negative covid tests but wow the head cold and stomach issues were never ending and it just kept getting worse. But yesterday I finally felt good again. So I did a good clean today, have my meal prep ready and I set myself up for success. I want to start tracking again though but that’s the thing I don’t feel motivated to do. When I first started doing these changes I went HARD and I weighed everything I want to be that good again but I’m missing that push and drive to do it, almost like I’m afraid to do it and I don’t know if it’s a fear of failure or what but maybe admitting I am afraid to get started like that again will help 🤷🏻♀️
