Back on track after my birthday weekend last week where I put on. So excited to be under 150lbs. 2.2lbs to achieve my next small goal of 10st 7lbs. Onwards and downwards!

Ham salad with pasta salad, only 400 calories. Ham is surprisingly lower calorie than expected! I love a colourful plate!

I didn’t weigh in at the weekend as it was my birthday and had a complete cheat weekend. Well, I’m paying for that now, a gain of 2lbs over 3 days. That will take me approximately 10 days to get off again even with me trying my hardest. Why is it so easy to put on and so incredibly hard to get back off again? I haven’t logged this gain, although I should, but I just can’t stand to see the gain at the moment. Will weigh in again as usual on Saturday which will hopefully be some improvement on where I am today 😔

Week 5/6 of my mini goal and I’ve DONE IT! 10st 10lbs on the dot. And with an embarrassingly awful cheat day in the mix too. Now to 10st 7lbs! I find I’m much more positive if I set these mini goals and focus on them rather than the final end result I’m hoping for, is anyone else the same? It’s so much more achievable and keeps me really on track. Happy weekend lovelies.

Week 4/6 of my challenge to lose 6lbs and WOW WOW WOW I tried intermittent fasting for the first time ever this week. Before I didn’t really know what it was but hadn’t been that interested as it sounded a bit crazy to me (in that when I heard fasting I automatically thought it was days without food)
So I had my eating hours between 9am - 6pm. I’m a late breakfast eater these days as I get the baby all sorted first and I usually have dinner around 6/6.30pm so it wasn’t much to bring it forward. My big problem has always been evening snacking but for some reason this week it was easier to stop myself as there was a clear rule in place. Sounds ridiculous but true. I still stuck below my 1600 calories daily and have been working out here and there but this is by far the best weekly result I’ve had so far. It might just be my body in shock but it’s a good shock. Just 1.2lbs to lose in the next 2 weeks!
Question for others who do IF; I’ve seen most seem to do 12-8pm, is there a reason for this? Like it being more beneficial or just a lifestyle thing? Thanks!
