I feel a little sad right now. I told my husband that I am down 6 pounds. He said congratulations this morning. He is the one that makes the evening healthy meals for us most of the time. Well when I got home he told me everyone had eaten and I looked and he had bought pizza. He did not heat up the left over chicken I had made or cooked any greens. I read in this book that was given me by my weight management counselor that said that be careful of the people that try to sabotage what you are doing. I sat back and thought of the many time I tried to diet and eat healthier and start losing weight and then my husband would bring home KFC chicken, mash potatoes, macaroni and cheese and biscuits. Well I AM grateful and thankful that now I am on a program that gave me something to cope with this type of situation. I did not eat pizza to night. Now that he is out of the house I am heating up some frozen spinach and the organic chicken I had left over in the fridge. No one can stop me now.

I had my one meal at lunchtime today at work. The funny thing was that I was not hungry, I just liked what they had at the cafeteria. So I will drink hot tea and liquids the rest of the day. Tomorrow will be my first full week eating this way. I really feel good and in control of food. I don't feel stressed about what I can and cannot eat. Energy level is still great.
I was told at the Easter Sunday how good I looked and that my skin was glowing. I attribute that to giving the body a 22 hour window to digest, cleanse and fast. How at peace I feel right now.
In one week I can see my skin look better, my waistline is slimming down, my clothes feel less tight. But best of all is the spiritual awareness I have over eating.

Today is Saturday because I am home I ended up eating earlier than I did on the work week which is alright. Watching an Anthony Hopkins movie with hubby and cooking chicken with mixed veggies for the family.

What I like about my new way of eating is that as long as my taste buds are asleep I do not crave anything like I did on other diets. It is teaching me to be in control of my appetite. Well this morning I am making my cup of Oolong tea with lemon juice in it and heading off to the grocery store early. I love to go this time of morning because there are not that many people there. Everyone have a great Saturday. Now to find my pedometer.... Trying to get in 5,000 to 10,000 steps today.

I think I have found something that works for me. I am drinking hot tea with lemon throughout the day, bottled water and then one meal at dinner.
I find drinking the tea keeps me alert and full. If I don't wake up my taste buds up during the day there are no cravings.
By the time I eat my dinner at night I really enjoy the food and feel satisfied.
The 23 hours that I am not eating my body is cleansing itself. I feel renewed.
As I said for all the naysayers below. This works for me. I hope you find what works for you.
