I am up today .5 from last thursday but the same as last monday weigh in. So i am not complaining as it was the start of TOM today and feel more water retention.
I am trying to eat healthier and make wiser choices. If this doesn't seem to help my weight I may need to go to a more stricter plan like Atkins to get weight down then work up the carb ladder.
Daughter is sick again today. I have to say I am not feelig the best either but that could just be the first day of cycle. I hope soon she starts feeling better and we can get a full week of school in soon.
Back to work...

What a week emotionally. We think my daughter might have a gluten intolerance. So I am trying to find gluten free recipes and such. I am going to do the gluten free with her. With that I thought oh I will go off atkins and lose weight on gluten free. Well I am scared that I will gain. Gluten free stuff has lots of sugar (the premade stuff).
So I am going to do my own - no chips or that stuff. But am going to concentrate on the healthy carbs that are gluten free such as rice, potatoes (cooked healthy) and vegetables. See how that goes. I know I won't have overnight success. But this may keep me from eating an entire bag of corn chips.
I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but I have been eating gluten free with daughter for a few days, yesterday I accidentaly ate something with gluten in it for lunch. I was bloated and gassy (sorry tmi) all afternoon. ???? I did have a couple beers last night and no they did not like me. I liked the taste of them, but today my hands and feet are like swollen sausages.
Off to make breakfast and more research.... oh and wash outside windows, clean house and etc.

Starting Gluten Free foods to hopefully help my daughter feel better. Trying anything at this point. I am almost hoping that this will be the cure for her. If we have to live gluten free then so be it. All natural is basically what we go back to.
I am wondering if my joint pain and stomach burning is part of it too. I shouldn't self diagnose myself though.
Hoping this will also shed some pounds. Watching what I am eating and eating healthy.

I have been challenged. By myself and with my daughter being sick. In talking to people and reading information. I know the Dr. said the test came back negative but I still in my mind feel she is Gluten intolerant. She has so many of the symptoms that it describes. In reading it says that it is hereditary. I have had problems with burning stomach and back for years. I wonder???? I feel so for her and she has missed so much school, I am willing to try anything.
So in an attempt to make her feel better I think we are going to start eating gluten free. That way we will see if she starts to feel better. Maybe both of us will feel better??
I will keep HOPE - helping ourselves through proper eating - being gluten free.

Today when I weighed in I have gained. But that is my own fault, not exercising and my carbs going over the 20g mark. I went shopping this past weekend, nothing fit. So time to really focus. I feel terrible both physically and emotionally.
I can lose, I have done it before and I can do it again.
I know Atkins works. I toy with trying Crack the Fat Loss Code again..but for now probably sticking to Atkins. I know it.
I am keeping on with induction until I can get my grams to 20 or less a day.
I am going to start exercising. I keep saying it, but reality is I am FAT and need to. I will feel better if I do also.
Here's to a good start monday.
