So, attempted to get running sneakers, yet again.
Spoke to an actual running shoe person this time. had him measure my feet. he came up with the suggestion of a small sized men's shoe, as it's hard to find the proper width/size for my feet in ladies.
and then (and this one was actually shocking)..he figured out that my feet aren't just a little uneven. the right one is almost 1.5 sizes larger than the left.
sadly, he had no suggestion for that, unless i can find a place to special order 2 seperate shoes, which is not likely to be found here in the armpit of pa.
so i went with a pair of men's asics that are built for people with high arches like me, that felt comfortable in the stores, that my heels didn't move around in. (because the problem with one shoe having to be far to large for the other one to fit is blisters on my heel all the time.) i guess i can try to pad the toe of the left shoe? any ideas?
going to attempt to get c25k in today... been running a fever all week, and this is the first day i feel semi-human, but of course wednesday is my busiest night of the week, so i need to get it in during nap time (which is like 20 minutes away) or i'm screwed. we'll see. =)

Fat Secret pet peeve of the day -
I REALLY hate that every time i attempt to add a new food with the word yogurt (or any other food that contains the letters gu)... it automatically decides Gu is the maker (even when i've put the makers name into the new food search button thingie)... and takes it out of the middle of the word yogurt.
I've had to edit a whole lot of entries for dannon yort. =)

this is actually for the 27th, but i didn't have time to jot it down earlier.
yesterday *the 26*, full rest day. whee.
today - c25k week 2, final time... distance, 1.70 miles. 30 minutes. c25k week 3 (i hit the wrong button on the c25k app, and was well into it before i realized... like, on the 2nd out of 4 runs, when it was 4 minutes long...muahahah) distance 1.51 m in 25 minutes. (actually, did them in the reverse order. but it looks better this way.)
strength and sculpt 20 minute video, 5 pound weights... plus the baby thinking we were playing some fun new version of keep away! =). (i've decided that i need to start doing my non-treadmill workouts when he's awake, cause lately i just haven't had the energy to do them when he's asleep.)
on a non workout note, made a huge batch of pasta, veggies, and protein tonight and split it up into 5 perfectly sized containers. one of my biggest struggles the last few months is that since the baby's dad is never home for dinner anymore (almost literally never) by the time i even notice that i should eat, it's usually way to late for me to feel like cooking. so, that problem solved! =)

c25k, week 2, day 2. 1.89 miles in 30 minutes. (+.05 over monday's distance. whee!)
very busy day today, friends coming over in less than 2 hours, house looks like a baby-nado went through it, have to feed him, shower both of us...argh! then, wednesday out..home at around 11.
strength training day too, so i'll have to do that when i get home. just glad i got the running part out of the way. not a big fan of using my treadmill over top of my neighbors at that time of night... not that they've ever complained, but if i was them, i WOULD. =)

60 mins on treadmill. Due to lack of energy, went a whole 3.28 miles. (I usually start my warmup at 3.3 and bump it up... hahahahahaha. Not tonight.)
Going to try to get to sleep early, hopefully feel better in the morning. =)
