I am a 39 year old college student, mother, and have been a wife for over 1/2 my life. Diagnosed with PCOS in 1989, then insulin resistance several years later, now type 2 diabetic, infertile, finally had a hysterectomy in 2009 and am not currently taking hormones. Tired of being heavy, having blood sugars above 200 and am worried I won't live to meet my grandchildren.

I love Sookie Stackhouse...both in the books and on TrueBlood. I read horror novels, but wouldn't watch a scary movie if you paid me. I like to knit, go camping, ride horses and shop. I hope someday I can succeed at keeping off the weight and enjoy my future career in social work.
