Last night we made a feast of small morsels with leftovers from the fridge. I had lots of help from my daughter and it turned out to be a lovely meal with lots of little dishes to choose from. We made a curried sauteed chicken, mini meatballs, green salad, aubergine (eggplant) salad, Spanish-style potato omelette, leftover artichoke risotto, garlic yogurt and mini pitta breads. The children loved it! (So did I - all light and nutritious and I had a small helping of everything!)

Kittens are growing fast, we're now into day 4. They all seem to be doing well but I haven't yet handled them so I don't know if they're boys or girls!

That's all for now - had my usual breakfast with a peach for the first time this year, they're just coming into season. Lunch will be a slice of potato omelette, green salad and red pepper, and for dinner I'm planning to buy fish to grill if I can find something nice.
