Just spent the last two days reshingling a friend's roof. I am really sore, but I didn't have to worry about getting in enough exercise as his roof is 35ft up to the top of the scaffolding. The 45 degree pitch on the roof gave my calves a workout as well. I am really sore, and a little sunburned, but not exhausted. The other issue with the weekend is that I didn't abuse my caloric intake, but we only ate twice a day. Once at breakfast and once when the sun went down so that we could take advantage of the sunlight hours. So I ate well at breakfast and not so well in the evening...just before went to bed. The next few days will tell the true story. Hopefully, this week will be normal, but I feel the sniffles coming on so I'll have to keep an eye on that as it progresses.
