I have definitely have been having a struggle as of lately. First in August after Hurricane Irene, I lost my mother in law. She lost her house during the flood from Irene. The night of the flood she had a heart attack. She was already suffering with stage four cancer but we didn't expect to lose her like that. Due to the flooding the emergency personnel couldn't get to her in time to save her. She was brain dead by the time she got to the hospital. I was there when we took her off the ventilator and saw her take her last breath. I will never forget seeing someone die. The whole experience was very traumatic for all of us one top of dealing with the destruction that was left behind from the flooding. More recently, in January my neighbor hung herself in her house. Her Mom found her and ran and got me. I was the first responder to that as well and 911 asked that someone go up and see if she was still breathing. Her mother couldn't do it, so I had to do that too. I have been on a emotional roller coaster since then. I am strong and my faith in God is seeing me through this. I just hope that I can physically get myself back to the motivational level that I was at before all of this happened to me. I wanted to be so much further along with my weight loss and I'm kinda beating myself up that I'm not doing so well. I don't even have the urge to work out and eat right like I did before. I find myself wanting to eat out more, and it's making me even more depressed.... ugh
