No idea why I gained a pound this week still worked as hard in the gym or harder, didn't cheat on my food, O well guess this next week I just have to work HARDER, I have started weight training the last 3 weeks but don't think that should make a difference in the weight gain. Maybe I can pull a big number this week.
Just got the 30 day Jillian Michael shred, we'll see if I can find time to add that to my workouts every day. I just much prefer the gym, not big into doing DVD workouts

When working out, it only takes 3 days, to build lean muscle mass. You're working out quite a bit, and as you probably know, muscle is so dense, a cubic inch of muscle is more than twice the weight of a cubic inch of fat. The best gage, when being so consistent with the Gym is measuring your upper arms, waist, thighs and hips. I bet you're losing a ton of inches, but the increase of muscle mass will prevent you from seeing it on the scale.

Hello! weight training will definitely make a difference! it's time to take your measurements and forget about the scale, in my opinion... muscle will make you look thiner, but you might weigh more on the scale. I know, it's hard to accept in the beginning. I think you'll be very hapy with the results though!

Thanks for all the insight guys, it really helps to keep me motivated to keep pushing. Yes I do get stuck on the numbers and I know I shouldn't it really doesn't get me down though b/c I know if I have come along way and slow and steady always wins the raise, this has certainly been a lifestyle change and something I want to keep up for the rest of my life. Fitness and Health is so important.
