Well, it has been a few years since I dieted in earnest, and I am happy to say I have generally kept the weight off since 2007 (see my diet specifications - it works!).

I am going through some body changes at the moment and gained 10 lbs over the course of about 2 weeks. Not sure what is going on yet, but I have my theories... anyway, I am now about 270 now and feel physically gross.

So, I am now determined to revisit the strict diet of 2007 and recapture some old glory. This time, I would like to go for 50 lbs and see what the view is like at 220 lbs!

While the recommendation of 2000 calories is high in my estimation, I am pleased to see that what I ate today was within the recommended calorie range (without precounting calories), with a great net calorie count with the little exercise performed.

I am confident in my ability to make sound nutritional decisions and encouraged by my first day in organizing my thoughts and goals in this area. Let's hope my body cooperates ;)
