last week was a test. wednesday, someone brought cheesecake and red velvet cupcakes to work. at 3pm, they left them right near my desk. everyone was coming over to get some. a few people commented to me how good it was and didn't i want some. i had to take my afternoon break and leave the building. i resisted but it was a bit of a struggle.

then on friday, some coworkers went out to lunch and brought back leftover pizza and cinnamon knots. that was more difficult. at afternoon break, i almost caved in but didn't. at 4:45, i checked to see if there was any left but someone had taken the boxes away. thank goodness! i really was going to have pizza or a cinnamon knot.

when i got home friday night, i worked harder than ever during my workout.

I have the same problems! I work in a doctor's office and our reps are always bringing something sweet...donuts, cookies...it's very hard to resist. I stay out of the kitchen as much as possible and always have a healthy sweet alternative to fall back one...either gum or a fruit, maybe some nuts...anything to keep my mouth occupied! Also a hot beverage is good...coffee or flavored tea. Even though I'm maintaining I try and keep away from day to day sweet treats even in moderation and save those splurges for when I'm out. Good luck, I know it's hard but the rewards as very much worth it!
