Drove down, south of Edinburgh, to visit my M-I-L yesterday. It was an hour each way, and I must admit, yesterday evening on my return, I felt as if I had pushed the car both ways!
Southbound, the bridges were shrouded in fog/low cloud, but it had lifted by the time I returned, and I saw that one of the three tower cranes had been removed from the new bridge. It is provisionally due to open to traffic in about 6 weeks.
