Oh boy, grandson has a birthday party today. Just picked up the cake for them....Dairy Queen ice cream cake. Not sure exactly what it was but looked like maybe the one with choc and vanilla, fudge and crunch center....

question is---1 small piece? None? what to do what to do....

I know we are on "diets" to lose weight, but at some point diet has to become lifestyle. In situations like this I will look up how much a small sliver will cost me on the "diet", then have the smallest portion possible. I will close my eyes while eating it and enjoy every morsel. Then I'm done and go on with my life. I don't "blow" the resit of the day 'coz I went off diet, I don't beat myself up, I don't feel any guilt. Now if you have 20 grandchildren...

Well, I DID look it up and NOPE, didn't eat any. Just couldn't justify THAT MUCH carbs/sugar. Getting ready to eat a rib-eye and some cauli-mash. One of my favorite meals!
