Why do i suddenly feel like the lord is calling me closer again. Does it mean i'm straying too far from his wishes, or is it a reward for following the right path?
If i am to believe the followers of jesus christ, the lord is like a father. If i look at the way i'm raising my own son, i would only call him back to me if he is straying too far or into dangerous grounds.
However i believe the lord in his allmighty way can transend these fatherly tendencies, letting go further and letting his teenage children stray so they can fend for themselves when they are grown.
When grown, you can no longer call back your child, but you can motivate them, and be [or not be] proud of them. The father of an adult child, if they still love their children, as i believe the great lord to do... they will tell them that.
So does the heavenly father, i know exist, considder me a small child, or views me as growing into adulthood?
Does it matter?
As a small child, blind of dangers ahead, will stubbornly follow my own path untill my heavenly father on whom i depend, will grab my arm and pull me away from danger...
As a neer adult, i choose to enjoy the presence of my father, heed his advices, but follow my own path, trying to make him proud of me...
