Had another very difficult night. For the past two days I have only used Paracetamol as a pain killer but, though I am getting better, I still need a bit more to take the edge of the pain. I have resumed the Tramadol today, and feel so much better. Went for a VERY SHORT WALK today, but where ever I go I get my 48 stairs included in the deal. I am so disappointed that it is taking so long to heal. I suppose at 68 the body doesn't heal as well as it does at 28 but it just seems to be dragging on.

Unfortunately, you're right about taking longer to heal as you get older. It always amazes me how quick cuts and bruises go on my grandchildren compared to me! Glad the Tramadol is making you feel better and that you were able to get out for a walk. Have a lovely day.

Just a bit of walking (and no pain, of course) will help you feel better. Try to be patient. As I said before, you just had major surgery and your insides will take a bit longer to heal. Hugs!
