Yesterday was mainly spent driving. We did get out for a walk with my step-daughter's dog though, while we were baby sitting for her. I have found the most wonderful bread. It is Lidl's Low GI, Multiseed loaf. When I bought some, yesterday morning, it was still warm from the oven. You just have to eat it. With a large dollop of butter. So much for my reduced Carb regime.

Thanks. I did weigh and count what I had, but it was the % Carbs that was more of a concern.

Nothing better than the smell of fresh baked bread. Hard to resist. I have pre-diabetes and bread shoots the blood sugar straight up. I am wondering how many carbs and how much fiber was in the bread serving? I have heard of gluten free breads but not low GI. Interesting.

Bread is a serious temptation for me. I adore good quality, fresh bread and used to make my own a lot and included oats and seeds. It's definitely something I'll be reintroducing carefully when I get to maintenance but that's some time away yet.

150 grams was 43.65 grams Net Carbs and 10.4 grams Fibre.

Oooo..I smell it from here : ) Hope you enjoyed it. I'm sure none of us got overweight eating a slice or two of bread. Pretty sure it was when I was baking it myself and eating half a loaf at a time and snacking on pots of popcorn. (on top of whatever else I was eating)
