Hi everyone am still away from home …. Trying my best to cope I’ve come to realise that dieting doesn’t work for me ( restrictive diets) or eliminating food groups and that I have to have an eating plan otherwise my emotional eating takes over & end up gaining weight being mindful when it comes to portion control and certainty that red meat doesn’t agree with my body causing inflammation and swelling water retention lowering protein also didn’t fit the bill iron deficiency hair loss and low energy muscle pain so now it’s a balanced Mediterranean Middle Eastern diet all food groups protein from lean chicken breast and fish healthy olive oil butter tiny amounts and rice salads fruits nuts …. Water retention gone swollen feet and energy much better no hunger I no longer fast 3 meals is what is best for me hunger doesn’t agree with me & hate feeling deprived having said that I gave up on crisps seeets and all snacks other that a handful of nuts daily I learned their is no one fits all diet hope this posts offers hopam blind typing from my phone Pls keep me in your prayers I need all the help I can get sending u all much love

I missed breakfast today no eggs placed an order at 8.30am no delivery till 2pm so I had to go out in the heat get what I need for my meals …. Forgot to wear my fitness watch 🫣 so too late for breakfast lunch & dinner yum
Boiled chicken & rice salad and steamed veggies too looking forward to it

This is similar to what I do Nadia , fasting too brutal for me . I am doing ok on it . Not hungry enjoy making different salads with diff dressing. I think of it as a change of lifestyle more than a diet doesn’t sound so strict . Hang in there you are coping well with everything. Will you get home soon ? X

hey beautiful friend 😘 I'm finding more and more that my body only 'likes' foods native to my own region....which makes sense as u have to 'acclimatise' to anything else and it would obvs bloat u, kinda explains all the allergies and my IBS too, also oil and water doesn't mix (ur body is mostly water)so I'm trying to stop using oil to cook and for me it's back to basics....I've js cheated today and had some pizza and fries,,feel terrible, bloated, didn't even like the taste and still hungry,,from now on if its not got good nutritional value then I'm not eating it!!

Food wise am loving the life style changes trying to moving around more is so hot all the time muggy so will walk inside the court downstairs I love my partner he is supporting me every step of the way your friendship makes such a difference gets lonely it really does thank u for being my friends xx
