I'm trying to keep my carbs under 20 grams for the next 2 weeks. I have not been successful at it. I have managed to keep them under 50 grams though and have dropped my calories by quite a bit. That however was unintentional. I have also increased my exercise by joining a FitBit step challenge on Facebook. By doing all of this since last Friday I have already dropped 6 lbs.(Holy Cow that was quick!). Trying get get my cholesterol back to a healthy level and bring my HBA1C down as well.

I have got to learn that when I get to my healthy levels I can't just eat whatever I want. You think I would have learned that the last time my levels went way up. . . . Hard lesson learned! :-p

WHOO! *6* lbs!! that is AMAZING. i am also trying to keep carbs down. it is harder then i thought it would be. (i'm trying to stay <35 net carbs. notice the word "trying," because i fail alot). Good luck with keeping under 20! and maybe share some recipes?
