My new Fitbit Zip which I got from my workplace tells me I barely move through out the day. Yesterday was my first day wearing it and I did want to see what it looks like on a normal day. Yesterday was not exactly normal, because we were fighting major issues that kept me at my desk even through lunch, but that is becoming too much the norm these days.

So today I start trying to improve that step count and I figure as long as this number goes up and the number on the scales go down this is a good thing!

I want to get a fitbit. I know I don't move much anymore. You really should use your treadmill. Even if it is only for 5 minutes, that is 5 minutes more than not using it!

That's for sure, just can't get myself motivate to do anything after work, and there is no time before. I have two days off next week, and I already have errands to do, but I'm going to fit in the treadmill somewhere in there and get serious about exercise again. The Fitbit Zip is the least expensive of their products and does a good job with the basics, including syncing with your phone or tablet so you can track online. I figure if I ever reach my goal (make that when I reach my goal), I'll look at the more expensive models.
