Emotional eating in progress. I’m overwhelmed with university, work, my bf’s mom death, my other bf’s divorce after 14 years together. And I can’t stop to even process what the f is going on cause all my chapters are due and nothing sticks to my head at all and I’m failing. All I have left with is food to please for a slight second. Idk what to do anymore. 😭

Sorry you are going through a stressful time. If you stress eat, maybe choose more nutrient rich foods like a bun less burger w/cheese & pickles v. cake, candy or chips. Or 1/2 an avocado 🥑 & a boiled egg. Foods that will satisfy your stress but are healthier for your body. Maybe research foods that “lift the spirits” like unsweetened dark cocoa, dark greens, etc. Prayers for your tough times.

Also, taking walks help me to relieve stress.

Remember, there is always tomorrow and you can restart. Stress is a real trigger. Don't keep making that same choice though. Fill your pantry with healthy alternatives. Take walks to clear your mind. Drink lots of water when you get hunger pangs.

Thank you all for the support. I’m pushing it through as much as I can. I know I’ll be late on my “work that needs to be done” but I’m giving it my best to push through to survive those moments. I’m trying. I’ve asked parents to help me and they went grocery shopping for me bringing vegetables, fruits and berries. I’ll be ok.
