Jour 13 du Tour:
It is so hard to convince the mind what is really good for the body! First few kilometers cycling i feel slow and agitated, i want to turn around and go back and i just tell my brain in cannot possibly go back nor can i take that short cut because i do not know the way.
But then after about an hour something so special happens, only people that do a lot of endurance sports can relate to this: you start to get a tred, your mind starts to wander to nice thoughts and places and stops to think about turning back.
After another hour something even more wonderful happens, I start to smile and i start to feel happy. But more then that i start to feel like flying. The only song that justifies the feeling i get at that point is from the who: "If I told you what it takes to reach the highest high, You'd laugh and say 'nothing's that simple' But you've been told many times before Messiahs pointed to the door And no one had the guts to leave the temple!
