argh!!! 10 days in and i'm gaining weight even though my calories and exercise show that I should be losing. I'm going to try a different scale beacuse my swings by 6lbs in either direction if I repeatedly weigh myself.

Looks like your carb intake is a little high even though your calorie in take is lower... all those process carbs you are eating are only increasing your blood sugar and causing your body to release more insulin, which causes your body to store fat rather than mobilize it for energy use. Try introducing more protein snacks when you get cravings, it will also slow down the digestion of the carbs, making your blood sugar more stable, and keep you fuller longer. Also, the carbs we eat make us retain lots of water, so make sure you are drinking plenty of ice cold water through out the day, your weight gain may just simply be retained water weight.
