Friday 22nd July
Well its Friday again! I looked at my weight this morning and I don't seem to have lost anything which is a bit disappointing ater losing nearly 5lbs in my first week.
I might stretch it out until Sunday when I record my weight again. Husband is on call all weekend so I wont be drinking (well maybe a little)
I have a week off work now too, so if its nice I might try and get out and do some walking.

Do not get discouraged!! The first week is normally the best because with increased water intake and reduced sodium intake, you lose a lot of water weight. Your body takes a couple of weeks to adjust. Then, with diet and exercise a 1-2 pound loss per week is a safe rate.

weigh in this morning, down another three pounds, I'm very happy with that. Its encouraged me to keep up the good work, Ive resisted crips for two weeks now (my big downfall) and substituted with pretzels. not bad!
