Does any body have tips on how to drink more water?? This is the thing I struggle with the most! Thanks in advance!

Sometimes a bottle of room temp water goes down faster and you can chug one first thing in the morning. I like iced so I always have my bottle with me. An alarm every 30 minutes can help. In the summer I love to put sliced lemon and sliced cucumber in my water, super refreshing. Even sliced oranges works. It is a struggle for sure, just gotta remind yourself. There are water drinking apps too that you can mark off every time you have a glass. Good luck!

I leave 2 bottles on my night stand so when I wake up I automatically drink them because I be so thirsty… that way I start off my day with water and that puts it on my mind for the rest of the day.

Had the same problem and then our nurse practitioner suggested we drop tap water and go for electrolyte balanced water like Smartwater or even Gatorade. That did the trick. Our bodies crave the stuff.

For me the only thing that finally worked is drinking only water. When I drank anything flavored I would choose that instead. After awhile of just water I started liking water. I never force myself to drink. I drink when I’m thirsty and I stay hydrated.

If you are not drinking enough water, purposely form a new healthy habit. It may be a struggle now but remember you are training yourself to drink more water. I like many of the other member's suggestions. Drink some water now...

Use Mio! No calories and the fruit punch is delicious! Has increased my water intake 3x! Also a really good water filter like a Birkey takes out metal taste that for me was the off putting taste.

I designate times when I am to drink water. I have my water bottle at my desk at work, I drink a bottle of water on my way home from work, I have water at dinner, the first thing in the morning I drink water, and on the week days I have just hot water in the mornings (weekends I drink decaf coffee). Drink tea. You'll get the hydration plus a lot of other beneficial nutrients. Or mix an electrolyte mix into the water to flavor it up. Never hurts to increase the electrolytes in your blood. Drinking lots and lots of pure water everyday actually does have its downsides... we can poison ourselves with too much water.

I have a big cold cup that I fill and drink water. I feel the more water I drink the less I eat! That’s my incentive!

I use a 1/2 gallon bottle…my goal is 1 gallon a day….but the bottle helps me keep track! I try to keep it near me….but you can see how much you have to go…if the day is moving and I see I haven’t been drinking..it prompts me…I’m still working on it! Hopefully that helps some!

I use a water tracking app! But for me I have to watch how much daily no more than 50ozs! So it helps allot!

I bought a 32 0z stainless steel thermal water bottle that keeps my water nice and cold I hate warm water. I have been drinking 64 oz or more a day since I got this it was only 14.99 on Amazon

Well u need it so drink it. Get a gallon water keep it w you all day drink until it’s gone. Russel makes a great point it’s easy when you just drink water only.

I always that that WARM water was less appetizing than cold water. If you carry and use a water bottle that has secure screw-on lid, fill it halfway with bottled water at night and place it in the freezer. In the morning, take it from the freezer and fill the now-frozen half-bottle with additional bottled water. If you keep your small bottles of water in the section of the refrigerator where food is kept the coldest, you will have cold water to drink all day. If you have room in the freezer, store your extra water bottles to freeze half-full and be able to replenish your desire for cold water in very little time! Good luck and SALUD!

The less you have of other drinks in the house the less the temptation. Outta sight outta mind. It’s not bad to have a glass of milk or juice or coffee etc.. it gets bad when u drink those all day. If u like pop u could drink diet pop which has 0 calories n is a great alternative it jus doesn’t hydrate u the way water does. Overtime u will enjoy water more n more. I quit drinking pop n all that other stuff in middle school n now drink water 99.9% of the time n enjoy drinking it more than any other drink. To me there is absolutely nothing more hydrating than a nice cold glass of water. Cheers wish u the best of luck!
