Okay, well, the weigh in wasn't as bad as I thought. Still, its bad enough...and makes me realize that I can't just take time off from taking care of myself.
The knee is better today. Trying to do things the "natural" way just wasn't working. I had upped my fish oil (which helps with inflamation) and tried to put ice on it frequently. But finally yesterday I caved in and took an ibuprofen before bed. Another when I got up this morning and by late afternoon I could walk with hardly any pain (first time in about six days!). I am taking another one tonight. I am ABSOLUTELY convinced that this is all about weight. If I lose a little I KNOW my knee will feel better. In the meantime, ibuprofen is my friend. I promise that after I lose 20lbs, if it isn't better, I will go to the doctor. But I talked to my dr. friend today and he said I can be on the ibuprofen until then, so no worries.
