Day One of my new challenge to get moving!!! Babysat for my two nieces tonight and took them for a 20 minute walk. Would like to be doing some kind of exercise that is just for me...a way to get away from the normal obligations of my life and actually focus on myself for once. But that isn't probably going to happen this week, so I'm just trying to squeeze it in where I can. The weekend should be better.

Will weigh in on Friday and start induction on Saturday. I was thinking of doing an induction challege. There don't seem to be many low-carb challenges going on right now.

My knee is really killing me....I think just a product of being overweight. So that gives me the incentive to get some more weight off...but it also makes it harder to move. Maybe swimming would be a good option until it starts feeling better. NOTE TO SELF - check into water aerobics classes in the area....or just open pool times.

Good idea getting in your exercises while bonding with your nieces. Walking or swimming is probably the best exercise for you right now since your knee is giving you some problems. I've switched my eating plan to a low-carb with weight watcher point system and it seems to have helped me break my plateau which lasted FOREVER. Still keeping my fingers crossed though. I like it because I can eat more fruits and veggies plus I'm keeping track of my calories too. I think on the straight Atkins plan I was eating too many calories even though I was staying on track. It's something to think about. Anyways, GLAD YOU'RE BACK! C'mon Girlfriend, let's DO this!!!! (((((HUGS)))))
