Safe to say I now have my appetite back after covid! Going to the gym today for a gentle workout to assess where I am physically now that I am negative at last!! Not going to swim..........I know I do not have the power YET. Maybe next week.

Well, to be honest, mine last one was 5ish days only, and it took me a full month after to come around fully.. I would climb the stairs in the house in a fast pace and lose my breath.. So give yourself some time, don't push it too much..

I am still having to walk the dog twice a day, nunido so not getting enough rest perhaps.

It took me a long time to get back to my normal when I had it. However, it sounds like you’re on the road to recovery which is wonderful to hear. Do pace yourself as the exhaustion is a killer. I had a chuckle over your nap comment - I love a nap😂🙈.

Another nap required today, Suma. Yeah, feel OK but very tired come mid afternoon Going for another gym tomorrow. Still too tired to swim.

No drowning! Good to hear you're recovering fairly quickly. My BFF caught it prior to vaccinations being available, and what with her asthma, it took her 2 months to get past the fatigue and shortness of breath. Be gentle on yourself, Anne 💚

Hiya JB. Yeah no swimming yet. The mere thought of it exhausts me. But I plan for another gentle go at the gym. I don't have any underlying health conditions but I certainly feel tired. Just trying to pace myself and not let things get me down 🙂

I agree, Noor. Swimming has great rewards but requires maximum effort. I think next week at the earliest and even then it will be short course only 🏊‍♀️ drinking lots of tea in the meantime

Hi, SairThom. I remember you took ages to get your energy levels back up. I think I am in the same boat. By mid-afternoon I am flagging. But I am trying to pace myself to come back stronger.

Hi Anne, yes, you’re right. I was six months off work. I managed to get Covid pre vaccine I’m afraid. You’ll get there and your energy will gradually improve. Slow and steady to build up your stamina is my advice. You’re a determined woman and that’s half the battle! Sending love and best wishes your way 😊 x

Hi Anne, so glad ur now negative, myself and WeeG took months to get back to a level of 'normal' just take ur time with it, listen to ur body and a good multi vitamin, iron and I got a super 6 mushroom complex and they really helped, great big squeezy hugs getting sent ur way 🤗❤️🤗❤️
