Had by BFF's over for dinner last night and damn it was good! I made this poblano rice that I saw on Food Network and my boyfriend stuffed a pork tenderloin with a variety of puree'd peppers and grilled it. Mmmm Mmmm. I also made some hot sauce from serranos and jalapenos which was also tasty! Home cooked meals are SO good I wonder why people even go out to eat!! LOL! I enjoy eating out and trying new places, but there are so many times that I know a meal at home would have been 100% better (and I can track what is in it), AND cheaper! =D So we started planning our Mardi Gras costumes for next year (yes, we start early), we are doing burlesque type costumes. I'm just excited I get to wear a little hat or something and feathers! Think I'm going to do teal and black....still searching for the perfect pieces to put together.
