Hi my FS friends🙋‍♀️ How's your new year going?

This morning, I realized how very much I appreciate & need this community! Several things have changed in my routine, leading to a weight gain. I'm feeling overwhelmed these days...SO here's my plan:

1. Continue smoking cessation. Choose healthier things to snack on. Take 'NEAT'
breaks, instead of smoke breaks. Drink more water.
2. Be patient with myself while my body gets used to the change in arthritis
meds. Shorter sessions of exercise till the pain eases/mobility returns.
3. Diligence in logging calories/weighing food.
4. Participate here on FS. You guys are vitally important to my success💙 When I
look up helpful hints, it helps ME as much as anyone else!
5. Earlier to bed using the new bipap machine, to get more hours of sleep.
6. More cooking simplified recipes & using as many fresh, whole foods as
possible.

You are so right about FatSecret being our place to get our 'stuff' together. I love this site!! Well done on quitting smoking! You can do it!! I smoked for years and finally quit. It had to be done!

Very good strategies and goals. This winter seems to be a bit harder then usual. You'll be successful CrystalJo, I know you will. Small victories mean everything. 💪💕😊

You can do it Crystaljo! I'm trying to lose between 4-6lbs myself. In the past it would take me a week to lose 1lb. 1/2lb is really reasonable!!!

Happy new Year Fell right off the wagon and got ran over lol. Going to start again Slow and easy start a little higher calories like 1400 to 1500 after I get going down to 1200 calories a day I swear I do not know why I do this to myself

I enjoy seeing your posts & I'm glad you're back. I have found staying on track during maintenance easier while continuing I interaction on FS. Sharing meal photos & motivational/ info posts help keep me focused.
