I've lost three pounds in seven days. I'm wondering when I'm going to hit that plateau. This hasn't felt destructive or guilt-driven like many "diets I've dealt with before. I cut out almost all sugar. Here's where I do get it. 1) in small portions of dark chocolate 2) I use 2tsp of sucanat in my coffee but when I've gone through that bag (it's expensive, I don't want to waste it) I'm going to switch to coconut sugar because it does better with the glycemic index. 3) I've been using italian-type dressings so any dressing that is sweetened. 4) my morning protein bars from Aldi.
(btw, i don't count natural sugar in whole fruit)

I think sugar has been the biggest enemy to my weight loss. When I'd get a sugar high and get hungry at the same time, I'd be a bottomless pit. Nothing could make me feel full. Cutting out sugar makes me more able to go longer without needing to constantly snack.

I'm liking this.
