I got the X Ray results. I have a bone spur that is causing the inflamed tendon. Nothing like getting older. Lol New inserts, anti inflammatories and no running for a few weeks. Elliptical and bike here I come for low impact work out.

Bummer! But it is good to know what the cause is! I am going in to doc next week so I can stop guessing at all of my old guy aches and pains. I think I may look on Craigs list for an eliptival too. That will calm my spazzy mind down when I hurt myself and cant walk or run! Good luck...and get better!!

Glad you found out what the bother is - now you have a plan & can move forward effectively! Getting old just plain sucks!

Ugh! Annoying...at least you can still manage the lower impact stuff. How about swimming? Is that an option?

Lat, I don't swim well, maybe I need some lessons:) GG, Yes Older but wiser. lol. Mike Ellipticals are good, lucky I have a gym at work and don't have to buy one. Exercise equipment can get heavy and expensive. I am really glad to knowI have a very common problem I can heal with time. Thanks, Mel
